Open Practice 2010
- The track will be open for practice Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday,
Saturday and every Sunday when there is no race scheduled. The track
will be closed for open practice on Monday and Friday.
- Gate opens at 10 am and closes at dusk.
- We will update the voice mail each morning as to track conditions,
rainfall etc. If you are unsure of the weather or track conditions,
please call before you drive.
- No AMA or District membership needed for Open Practice.
- Practice fee is $30.00 for the day.
- Buy a Season Practice Pass for $200.00. The Season
Practice Pass includes UNLIMITED practice, OPEN or ORGANIZED.
- Riders under 18 years of age must have a Notarized Parental Consent
form (below) accompanied by an Open Practice Minor Waiver (below).
The first form is for the parent/guardian to appoint someone of legal
age to act as the adult in charge the minor while at the track. This
form MUST BE NOTARIZED. This can typically be done at a bank or
insurance agency.
When you get to the track, the person appointed as the minor's guardian
will sign the Open Practice Minor Waiver. (Please make sure the adult
has a photo ID.) There will be no exceptions to this rule. Please call
if you have any questions about the forms, we're happy to help!
- Upon arriving, please stop at the brown camper to sign in and pay.
Even if you're not riding, you still need to sign in.
- We encourage use of the buddy system, ride with a buddy whenever possible.
- Please take a parade lap your first time out each visit. You never know
when the track will be changed.
- There are no flaggers or medical personnel on site during OPEN practice.
- Hurricane Hills MX Park Inc. does not provide medical insurance
coverage. Motorsports are inherently dangerous. You should take part
in practice or competition based on your own assessment of your
abilities and track conditions.
